Frank Stanley Vanak, Sr., 94 of Lighthouse Point Fl, passed away on July 1, 2011. Born in Worcester, MA, he lived in Elmwood Park for many years before moving to Lighthouse Point in 1978. Frank was the Founder and Owner of Division Embroidery in Garfield for many years, retiring in 1978. A former parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Passaic, Frank was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church in Deerfield Beach, FL, a member of the Pompano Beach Elks Lodge # 1898, and was an excellent line dancer. Beloved husband of the late Martha (Firtek) who died in 1993. Devoted father of Frank S., Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Deerfield Beach. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, 7 Parker Ave., Passaic. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Friday 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory to Food for the Poor, Inc., 6401 Lyons Rd., Coconut Creek, FL 33073, would be greatly appreciated. www.shookfh.com
