Frank Karcz, 84, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Born in Podczerwone, Poland, Frank came to the United States in 1963 with his wife and two children. Prior to his retirement, Frank worked for Atlantic Brick, Saddle Brook, for 11 years, and Clifton City Hall for 19 years in the Department of Public Works. During this time Frank worked part-time as a Mason and was the General Contractor of his two brand new homes. He was also a devout parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, and his beautiful tenor voice could be heard throughout the church. When in Poland, Frank played the double bass with a band at weddings and various occasions.

Beloved husband of Bronislawa (Podczerwinska) for 60 years. Devoted father of Maria Pirog and her husband Tadeusz, Casey Karcz, and Frank J. Karcz and his wife Beata. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Matthew, Timothy, Michael, Joshua, Amelia, and Adrian. Dear brother of Wladislaw Karcz. Also, dear brother of the late John, Jozef, Stanislaw and Andrzej Karcz and Anna Sadowski. Last year, Frank celebrated his 60th Wedding Anniversary with his wife and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Saturday 7:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:00 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
