Frank E. Gatto's Obituary
Frank E. Gatto, 88, a lifelong resident of Clifton passed away on December 18, 2016. A US Air Force Veteran from 1951-1955 who served his country in the Korean War, Frank returned home to work for the US Postal Service. He began as a part-time clerk and, over his 32 year career, rose through the ranks to retire as a Postal Manager in 1987. He enjoyed is retirement by making many trips with his wife to Aruba, their favorite island. As an avid NY Giants & NY Yankees fan, he enjoyed cheering his teams on year after year.
Beloved husband for 56 years of Doris (Szostak). Devoted father of Frank P. of Bloomfield and Michael of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Desiree and Jessica. Dear brother of Anthony and his wife Marge of Saddle Brook. Loving uncle of 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
