Franciszek "Fred" Bladek, 65, of Clifton passed away on December 23, 2013. Born in Przyszow-Kolodzieje, Poland, Fred came to the US in 1964 and first settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton. A parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church, Passaic, Fred was a Maintenance Mechanic for Chromalloy, NY, for many years. Beloved husband of Stasia (Tchorowski) for 43 years. Devoted father of Richard Bladek and his wife Paula of Sparta and Jennifer Rakowski and her husband Nicholas of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Alexandra, Caroline, Natalie and Ashley. Dear brother of John of Clifton and Ted of Greentown, PA. Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10 AM at St. Joseph RC Church. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
