Frances C. (Brzezinski) Kosnik, 92, of Clifton, passed away on May 12, 2015. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived in Bayonne before moving to Clifton 68 years ago. A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Frances, was a member of the Rosary Society, the 39'ers and volunteered in the St. Andrew School Library. Frances was a Physical Education Teacher at both St. Andrew's School and St. Phillip's School in Clifton for 16 years, and later worked for the State of NJ Disability Agency in Newark, retiring in 1983. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Kosnik, who passed away in 1999. Devoted mother of Edward F. Kosnik and his wife Kay of Greenwich, CT, Christine M. Anderson and her husband Jack of Mechanicsburg, PA, John J. Kosnik of Clifton, and Virginia A. Smith and her husband Kyle of Westwood. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Edward, Paul, Michelle, Jonathan, John, Danielle, Tim, Kiera and Kaitlin, cherished great grandmother of Chloe, Lily, Ella, Lucy, Greta, Maggie, Quinlynn, Jaxson, Ean, Hudson, Brody and Ford, and this was her circle of life and her greatest joy. Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church. Interment, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Andrew's School Library, 418 Mt.
