Fouad "Freddy" Batraki, 86, of Washington Township passed away on September 8, 2024. Born in Damascus, Syria, Freddy came to the US in 1973 and settled in Clifton before moving to Washington Township in 1997. Freddy was a jeweler ever since he was a young boy, first in Syria, then again when he came to the US. He eventually went on to open his own jewelry shop, Freddy's Jewelry, in NY before moving it to Lodi many years ago.

Beloved husband for 58 years of Samira (Khalaf) Batraki. Devoted father of Mona Batraki and her husband Bashar, Rana Ritorto and her husband Marc, Samer Batraki and his wife Rima, and Dr. Maria Batraki Kim and her husband Joo. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 6-9PM at St. Mark's Syriac Orthodox Cathedral, 55 W Midland Ave., Paramus. Funeral Wednesday 10AM at St. Mark's. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
