Florence (Gola) Lisofski, 96, of Clifton, passed away on December 30, 2013. Born in Clifton, she was a lifelong resident. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Florence was a member of the Golden Circle, the former Leisure Club, and the Rosary and Altar Society. Florence was a Secretary for Curtiss Wright Aeronautics in Caldwell for 35 years, retiring in 1982, and was a member of the Athenia Veterans Post Ladies Auxiliary and AARP #4192, both in Clifton. Beloved wife of the late Joseph who passed away in 2008. Devoted mother of Robert and his wife Olga. Loving grandmother of Sandra Seifert. Cherished great grandmother of Cassandra and Robert. Dear sister of Ruth Szekely, Henry Gola, and the late Stanley, Joseph, Walter and Edward Gola, Mary Keskosky, Estelle Feczer, and Rose Zabielski. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Wednesday 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
