Evelyn Mae Vatasin's Obituary
Evelyn Mae (Gillman) Vatasin, 91, of Passaic, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018. Born in Newark, Evelyn lived in Nutley, before moving to Passaic after her marriage to John Vatasin in 1953. A member of the Eastern Star, Evelyn worked as a secretary for the East Rutherford Board of Education for more than 20 years, retiring in 1988.
Beloved wife of the late John Vatasin who passed away in 2012. Devoted mother of Glenn Vatasin and his husband Bernie Bernbrock, of Glen Ridge, and the late John T. Dear mother-in-law of Mary Vatasin of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of four: John, Stephen, Elena and Abigail.
Funeral Service Monday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Interment, Ss. Peter & Paul's R.O. Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Sunday 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
