Eva Zapata, 94, of Livingston, passed away on November 6, 2023.

Born in Germany, Eva and her family fled to South America during World War II and established their life there. In the 1960's, the  family moved to America and reunited with other family members. She lived in Jackson Heights, NY and Bayside, NY before moving to Livingston, NJ.

She began her business career as a secretary in an import/export firm. When Eva retired she was the Director of International Sales for Wet 'n Wild cosmetics. Her greatest joy was helping others.

Beloved mother of Susan Zapata of Glen Ridge. Loving grandmother of April Goldberg.

Services are private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
