Eugene "Gene" Dvorak, 94, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Clifton, passed away on November 12, 2022, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, surrounded by his loving family.

Gene was born in Clifton and resided there until he moved to Vero Beach in 1983. A US Navy Veteran, Gene proudly served his country during WW II and was a long distance trucker for 27 years, before retiring many years ago. A member of the Athenia Veteran Post, Clifton, Gene enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Matamoras Gun Club in PA.

Morello Lange, and Lori-Gene Dvorak and her companion Edwin Hagan. Loving grandfather of

Christopher Hill, Danielle Wolfe and her husband Michael, Stephanie Dvorak, and Derek Dvorak.

Cherished son of the late Albert and Maria (Wieczezak) Dvorak. Dear brother of Theresa Coppola and the late John Dvorak. Gene is also survived by his long time friend who was always there for him, Manny Silva.

Memorial Gathering Thursday, December 1, 2022, 9-11 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Immediately following the Memorial Gathering at the funeral home, Gene's remains will be laid to rest with military honors in St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
