In Loving Memory of

Eudelia Arias, 91, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025.

Born in Chepen, Peru, Eudelia came to the United States in 2005 and made Clifton, NJ her home. Known affectionately by all as Mama Mia, she was the heart and soul of her family — a woman whose kindness, faith, and strength touched everyone she met.

Eudelia had a deep love for life's simple joys. She began each day with a warm cup of coffee. She enjoyed reading the Bible finding comfort and guidance in God's Word. Her faith was central to her life and she was an active member in her church. She also found joy and community at the Care Way Adult Medical Day Care Center, where she loved connecting with friends and participating in daily activities.

She loved her jewelry, cherished her novelas — especially Bonanza — and above all, she treasured her time with family. Mama Mia was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She loved each of them deeply and unconditionally, always offering a listening ear, a warm embrace, and a heart full of love.

Devoted mother of Austria Arias-Ramirez, Filomena Arias, Flor Arias, and Arturo Urteaga. Loving grandmother of Alexander and Leonardo Ramirez, Adrian Haro, Hugo Mari, Gonzalo and Maira Urteaga, and the late Alberto Reaño and Sebastian Mari. Cherished great-grandmother of Fiorela Reaño, Micaela, Andres, and Gabriel Ramirez. Dear great-great-grandmother of Ethan, Bella, Lexie, and Blake Gerbasi.

Mama Mia's legacy is one of faith, family, and compassion. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong faith, radiant smile, and the unwavering love she gave so freely.

A wake will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shook Funeral Home, located at 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ. Cremation will be private.

Rest peacefully, Mama Mia — your love will remain forever in our hearts.

Eudelia Arias, de 91 años, residente de Clifton, falleció pacíficamente el 20 de junio de 2025.

Nacida en Chepén, Perú, Eudelia llegó a los Estados Unidos en 2005 y convirtió a Clifton, Nueva Jersey, en su hogar. Conocida cariñosamente por todos como Mama Mia, fue el corazón y alma de su familia — una mujer cuya bondad, fe y fortaleza dejaron huella en todos los que la conocieron.

Eudelia tenía un profundo amor por las alegrías simples de la vida. Comenzaba cada día con una taza de café caliente. Disfrutaba leer la Biblia, encontrando consuelo y guía en la Palabra de Dios. Su fe era el centro de su vida y fue una miembro activa de su iglesia. También encontró alegría y comunidad en el centro médico diurno para adultos Care Way, donde disfrutaba compartir con amigos y participar en las actividades diarias.

Amaba sus joyas, apreciaba sus novelas — especialmente Bonanza — y, sobre todo, atesoraba el tiempo con su familia. Mama Mia era más feliz cuando estaba rodeada de sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos. A todos los amó profundamente y sin condiciones, siempre ofreciendo un oído atento, un abrazo cálido y un corazón lleno de amor.

Abuela amorosa de Alexander y Leonardo Ramirez, Adrian Haro, Hugo Mari, Gonzalo y Maira Urteaga, y de los fallecidos Alberto Reaño y Sebastian Mari. El legado de Mama Mia es uno de fe, familia y compasión. Será recordada por su espíritu dulce, fe firme, sonrisa radiante y el amor incondicional que siempre ofreció con generosidad.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 25 de junio de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Shook Funeral Home, ubicado en 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ. La cremación será privada.
