Ethel (Postly) Talamini, 90, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Hospice of NJ in Wayne.

Born in Garfield on August 29, 1920 to the late Joseph and Katherine (Wactler) Postly, she lived most of her life in Clifton and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church.

Ethel married Bruno Talamini at St. Stephen RC Magyar Church, Passaic, on January 14, 1945 during a big snowstorm. Ethel worked for many years in Passaic as a sewing machine operator in the Dress Garment Industry and later as a Mail Clerk for the US Postal Service in Clifton until her retirement.

Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Bruno who died in 2008. Devoted mother of Carole Perrone and her husband Phil of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Lisa and Michael Perrone. Adoring great grandmother of Kayla Rose Perrone. Ethel will always be remembered for her unfailing love and gentle kindness to all.

Funeral Thursday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. www.shookfh.com
