Erna G. (Pokraska) Paz, 91, of Passaic, passed away on February 21, 2013. Born in Saddle Brook, she was a lifelong resident of Passaic. Erna and her late husband were the owners of Matty's Luncheonette on Monroe St. in Passaic for 20 years, retiring in 1980. Beloved wife of the late Matthew who passed away in 1994. Devoted mother of Matthew Paz and his wife MaryAnn of Passaic, Judy Gentile of Passaic and her late husband Andrew who passed away in 2011, and Christine Del Pozzo of Clifton. Loving grandmother of LoriAnn, Passaic PD Deputy Chief Matthew, Valarie, Amy, Jennifer, Jill, and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Edward Pokraska who passed away in 1986. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 9:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10:30 AM at the Wallington Presbyterian Church, Wallington.
