Enrique Cruz Garcia, 56, of Paterson passed away on November 8, 2024. Born in Puebla, Mexico, he traveled to the US in 1996 and lived in Passaic and Totowa for many years before recently moving to Paterson. Enrique worked as a cook for Beneci's D'Italia Cucina, Weehawken, for many years. He was a man with many hobbies but the ones he enjoyed the most were his cars and buying sneakers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He always put God and his family first. Enrique was always helping others in his community. Known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit, and his sense of humor. He was a faithful member of his church, who was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whoever needed it. Enrique's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered.
His memory will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Beloved father of Angelica Cruz-Gomez and her husband Benjamine Gomez, Mario Cruz, and Gloria Cruz and her husband Felipe Vazquez-Lara; and their mother Gloria Aguilar. Loving grandfather of Mia, Amya, Ashly, Ashanty, Leaah, Faith, Samya, Benjamin, Kendra, Lilian and Bella. Cherished great-grandfather of Aurora.
He was an outstanding man, loved by so many, who will be greatly missed. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
