Emelita Lucena, 84, of Clifton, passed away on April 13, 2026, Born in Santa Cruz, Laguna, Philippines, she came to the US in 2013 and settled in Clifton. A devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Emelita loved to sing and pray, especially the Rosary. Before retiring in 2001, Emelita was a First Grade Teacher at Bagumbayan Elementary School in Laguna for 30 years.

Beloved mother of Myla Lucena, Lanna Lucena and Irish Manalabe. Loving grandmother of Pauliea Shiri, Maria Simplicia, Mary Claire, Cabo and Gilmore Murray. Cherished great grandmother of Jace and Jade. Dear sister of Ana and Celso.
