Obituary

Elizabeth Siroka, born August 25, 1958 in Passaic, NJ. Raised in Clifton, NJ, Liz graduated from Clifton High School. A talented artist, she moved to Hoboken and attended Parsons School of Design in NYC where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. She worked as a graphic artist in the publishing field and received awards from the Art Directors Guild for her work at Discover Magazine. As a freelance artist she took on varied creative projects including regular design and editorial work for The Journal of Emergency Medicine. Moving to Bucks County, PA, she entered the real estate field becoming a licensed broker in NJ and PA. Recently she received her teacher's credentials and taught in Ewing and Flemington, NJ.

She is survived by her son William Cartaina of Solebury, PA; her parents Robert and Jacqueline Siroka, New Hope, Pa and NYC; her brother Matthew Siroka, San Francisco; cousin Dolores Hatossy of Glen Gardner, NJ and many extended family and close, loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to either the American Heart Association, Doctors without Borders,or a soup kitchen or charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.

Funeral service Saturday, October 2, 9:30 a.m at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, followed by interment at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. www.shookfh.com
