Elizabeth Linker's Obituary
Elizabeth "Bibs" (Oppelaar) Linker, 86, of Clifton, passed away on June 9, 2017. Born in Paterson, she lived in Hawthorne before moving to Clifton in 1956.
A member of the Athenia Reformed Church, Clifton, Betty was a Bookkeeper for Dykman Laminating Corp., Clifton for several years, and Daughter's of Miriam, Clifton, retiring many years ago. A very proud member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton, Betty was a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary, serving in 1979.
Beloved wife of the late Charles V. Linker, who passed away in 2006. Devoted mother of Bonnie Tadrick and her husband Joseph of Vernon, Robert Linker and his fiancee Mary Bendlin of Howell, and Thomas Linker and his wife Cathy of Clifton. Loving grandmother of Kelly, Tonia, Joseph, Nicholas and Thomas. Cherished great grandmother of Carter, Jake and Madeline. Dear sister of the late Carolyn Raders, Leonard and Samuel Oppelaar.
The family is planning a Memorial Gathering to be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. www.ShookFH.com
