Eleanor (Broadfield) Schimpf, 91, of Clifton, passed away on December 1, 2011. Born in Passaic, she was a resident of Clifton since 1922. Eleanor was a secretary for Reefer Express Lines in Roseland for many years before retiring in 1987. A Volunteer Patient Representative and Surveyor for Passaic General Hospital for over 20 years, Eleanor was also a Volunteer Coordinator for DYFS of Passaic County. Beloved wife of the late Andrew who passed away in 2003. Devoted mother of Robert of Clifton, and the late William A., Sr., who passed away in January. Loving grandmother of William A., Jr., and Suzanne. Funeral Service Sunday Evening 5:30 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation will be private.
