Elaine M. Svec's Obituary
Elaine M. (Cunnane) Svec, 81, of Clifton, passed away on August 27, 2016. Born in Bronx, NY, she lived in Clifton most of her life.
A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Elaine a homemaker, was active with the NJ Elks Development Disabilities Agency, Clifton, and the Clifton Adult Workshop.
Beloved wife for 59 years of Joseph J. Svec. Devoted mother of Kevin J. Svec and his wife Enilsa, Joanne C. Milot and her husband Phillip, John Svec and his wife Kandy, Lisa Melo and her husband Fernando, and the late Joseph Svec, II, who passed away in 2015. Loving grandmother 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way. Dear sister of Irene Szewczyk and the late John "Jack" Cunnane.
Funeral Wednesday 10:30 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Special Olympics New Jersey, 1 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Way, Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648, www.sonj.org, in memory of Elaine, would be greatly appreciated.
