Elaine M. Kopec's Obituary
Elaine M. (Danczak) Kopec, 75, of Passaic, passed away on January 5, 2016. Born in Passaic, she was raised in Garfield, returning to Passaic in 1962.
A parishioner of St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton, Elaine was a Travel Agent for Ultramar Travel in NYC for many years, and later was the Secretary for the First United Methodist Church, Passaic, retiring in 2006. A 1958 Graduate of Pope Pius XII High School, Passaic, Elaine enjoyed staying in contact with her many close friends.
Beloved wife of the late Edward, Sr., who passed away in 1987. Devoted mother of Kathryn Kopec of Passaic, and Edward Kopec, Jr. and his wife Linda of Florham Park. Loving grandmother of Jonathan, Thomas and Julia. Dear sister of Virginia Trump and her late husband James, John Danczak and his wife Patricia, Anne Thomas and her late husband James, and Elizabeth Huston and her husband Thomas. Beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Brendan's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Thursday 2-4, and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. www.ShookFH.com
