Elaine (Mauro) Cuoco, 93, of Clifton passed away on December 23, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she has been a resident of Clifton for many years. Elaine worked as a bookkeeper for the Glen Ridge Board of Education for several years before retiring.

Elaine was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Ellmers who passed away in 1984, her second husband, Jack Cuoco who passed away in 1998, and her sons, John Ellmers who passed away in 1989 and James "Jimmy" Ellmers who passed away in 2011.

Devoted mother of Robert Ellmers and his wife Judy and Laurene Ellmers Phillips and her husband Robert. Loving grandmother of Lauren Ellmers and her partner Tonya Cox, Valerie Holtz and her husband Caleb, Diana Ellmers, Neva and Jack Phillips. Cherished great-grandmother of Evia and Elani Maxwell and Francesca Holtz.

Visiting Thursday 9 – 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Service 10:30 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
