Eileen Catherine Hook's Obituary
Eileen Catherine (Schott) Hook, of Passaic, passed away on June 20, 2017. Eileen was born, raised, and lived in Passaic for the past 86 years, and was a parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic.
Eileen worked for the Telephone Company for 31 years, retiring from AT&T in 1994 as a Service Assistant in Operator Services, and was a Life Member of the AT&T Pioneers.
Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Ellen Hook in 1998, her parents Ellen and Charles F. Schott, Sr., her siblings Maryellen Donahue and Charles F. Schott, Jr., and her husband Michael who passed away in 1993.
Eileen was blessed with two grandchildren, Grace Laurie Biener and her husband Rob of Hillsdale, and Louis Michael Gentile, Deputy Chief, Passaic Police Dept., and his wife Arabella of Randolph. Eileen's blessings include her beloved great grandchildren, Michael James "MJ" and Evan Charles Biener, Louis Jaymes and Savannah Ellen Gentile. Dear godmother of Cathleen Capizzi and Shelly Lee. Survived by and related by love to Rita and John Capizzi and family. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9:30 AM at St. Nicholas RC Church, Passaic. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
If desired, donations made to St. Nicholas RC Church, 153 Washington Pl., Passaic, NJ 07055, in memory of Eileen, would be greatly appreciated.
