Edwin A. Ustas, 91, of Clifton, passed away on November 4, 2011. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. An Army Veteran, Ed served with the 554th ORD, HM Co. during WW II. Ed was the owner of Ustasieski's Butcher Shop on Speer Ave. in the Athenia Section of Clifton until 1972. Later he was a Records Manager for Midlantic Bank in Clifton for many years, retiring in 1985. A distinguished gentleman who was always proud of his polish heritage, Ed was a Ballroom Dance Instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studios, and was a member of the Parents Without Partners and the Clifton Bridge Club. Beloved father of Patti Ann Thivierge of Pinellas Park, FL, Kathleen Robertazzi of Palm Harbor, FL, Mary Ustas of Seattle, WA, John Ustas of Clifton, Eve Ustas of Oldsmar, FL, and the late Honorable Deborah L. Ustas who passed away in 2009. Loving grandfather of Quinton Robertazzi, Ryan Ustas and Janeva Buczynski. Dear brother of Helen Teske of Barnegat and the late Jean Kasica.
