Edwin W. Gola, 85, of Washington, NJ, passed away on February 19, 2025. Born in Paterson he lived in Clifton and West Paterson before moving to Washington over 20 years ago. A parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Washington, Edwin was a Lector for many years at Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Paterson. Edwin had a 42 year career with the Internal Revenue Service, retiring as the Associate Chief of Appeals in 2006. After retiring, Edwin continued as a consultant for several years. Edwin enjoyed working around the house and gardening, as well as traveling to different US cities in his earlier years.

Beloved husband for 56 years of Marie (Lacerenza). Devoted father of Michele Heaney and her husband Robert of North Carolina, and Suzanne DeRosa and her husband Thomas of Connecticut. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Jaclyn, Tommy, Kyra, Michael and Jason.
