Edward Zoltowski, 66, of Passaic, passed away on April 5, 2022. Born in Jersey City, he had been a resident of Passaic for over 35 years. A parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton, Ed was the
proprietor of Eddie's Tavern in Jersey City before changing careers and becoming
a computer technician.
Beloved father of Nicholas Zoltowski and his wife Allyssa of Mt. Olive, and Veronica Walsh and her husband Kevin of Cedar Grove. Loving grandfather of Aiden, Trevor, Olivia, Natalie and Colton. Dear brother of Christina Ventre and Irene Pisciotta of Wallington, Raymond Zoltowski of Wood-Ridge and the late Barbara Henneberry.
Ed, lovingly called Edzui, spent much of his free time at his mountain cabin in Glen Spey, NY. Stargazing, fishing, reading, and watching old science fiction television shows and movies were his favorite pastimes. An avid Deadhead, Ed attended many shows throughout his life and truly embodied the spirit of the Grateful Dead.
Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at St. Clare's Church, Clifton. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
