Edward Jacob Yobs, 72, of Clifton passed away on September 4, 2011. Edward was born in Throop, PA. His father Henry was a coal miner and his mother Florence raised their five children. Edward came to NJ for work as a maintenance machinist. He worked for Robbins Conveyor and Continental Can Co., both in Passaic. Ed then began working for Beecham Products, which later became GlaxoSmithKline in Clifton, retiring after 35 years in October of 2009. Ed was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Ed is survived by his loving former wife Jennie (Spinella), daughters; Cheryl Keller and her husband Phil and Kathleen Osborne, son; Mark Oliver and his wife Kathy and their son Donnie, grandchildren; Mark E. Yobs, Cassandra Breedveld, Tom Osborne, Johnny Szwakob, III, Sophia and Emily Keller, brothers; Henry and his wife Margaret, Robert (UB) and his wife Kathy, sister; Gloria Russell and her husband Jack and Rosemarie Griguts and her husband Bob, as well as 15 nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. "We love you Pop Pop". Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton.
