Edward Pipala, 93, of Clifton, passed away on August 5, 2015. Born in Passaic, he lived in Poland returning to the US after WW II and settled in Passaic before moving to Clifton over 60 years ago. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Ed volunteered around the church especially for the Annual Parish Picnic. Before retiring in 1983, Ed was a Butcher in North Bergen for 30 years. Beloved husband for 67 years of Emilia (Dubiel). Devoted father of the late Christine Mason who passed away in 2011 and the late Henry E. Pipala who passed away in 2008. Loving grandfather of Robert and his wife Carrie, Jeffrey and his wife Kathy, George and Olivia. Cherished great grandfather of Madeline, Nora, Beca, James and Alan. Dear father in law of Robert Mason of Parsippany and Margaret Pipala of Clifton. Also survived by a brother in Poland. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Friday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
