Edward Matuszczak, 82, of Clifton, passed away on October 12, 2014. Born in Poland, he came to the US in 1951 and lived in Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1967. A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Edward was a Boiler Engineer for Sun Bright Dye Co. on 8th St. in Passaic for over 50 years, retiring in 1999. An Army Veteran during the Korean War, Edward was a member of the Allwood VFW, Post #6487. Beloved husband the late Maria "Leonor" (Forero) who passed away in April. Devoted father of Edward of Clifton and William of Long Island. Dear brother of Mary Ann, Sophie, Leocadia, and the late Lucjan, Alexander, Mieczyslaw, Thaddeus, Mary and Henrietta. Loving uncle of Irene Puzio and Thomas Matuszczak. Memorial Mass Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, 11 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org, in memory of Edward would be greatly appreciated.
