Edward Marut, 97, of Clifton, passed away on February 7, 2014. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Edward was a Salesman for Singer Sewing Machine Co for many years and was a Veteran of WW II. Beloved husband of Wanda (Gawalis). Devoted father of Edward, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Chicago, and the late June Marut who passed away in 2004. Loving grandfather of Edward Ian Marut and Kathryn Erin Birch.
