Edward L. Marhoffer, 90, of Clifton, passed away on March 8, 2016. Born in Passaic, he lived most of his life in Clifton.
A parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton, Edward was a US Navy Veteran of WW II. Edward worked for the Clifton Board of Education for 9 years as the Head Custodian at School #13 on Van Houten Ave., retiring in 2005. Edward had also owned the City Club Service Center at the corner of Main and Gregory Avenues in Passaic for many years.
Beloved husband for 69 years of Josephine (Aiosa). Devoted father of Michele Ahlborn and her husband Hank of Clifton, and Karen Wilk of Clifton and her late husband Robert. Loving grandfather of Kevin and his wife Brianne, Jennifer, David and his wife Becky, and Stephanie. Cherished great grandfather of Madison, Christopher, Jackie, Brayden, James, Joseph and Taylor. Dear brother in law of Mary Aiosa of Clifton.
Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
