Edward J. Maksym, Jr., 69, of Clifton, passed away on June 10, 2025. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton. A Postal Clerk at the Wallington Post Office, Ed retired in 2010 after 24 years of service.

A devout Catholic, Ed was an active member of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, where he was an Usher, Past President of the Holy Name Society, was a member of the Pre-Cana Team, was a member of the Collection Team, and volunteered at many Communion Breakfasts and Parish Picnics. A 4th Degree Knight, Ed was a member of the Knights of Columbus Perez Council #262, Passaic, and was a Past Grand Knight. Ed was an avid sports fan of the Mets, the Giants, the Rangers and the Knicks. A history buff, Ed was fascinated with everything that involved The Civil War. Anyone who knew Ed, was familiar with his infectious smile and, was probably a recipient of a "Give Me a Big Hug"

Beloved husband for 28 years of Rosemary (Failla) Maksym. Devoted son of the late Edward J. Maksym, Sr., and Phyllis (Hewrycz) Maksym. Dear brother of the late Janet Siery Debiak. Cherished brother in law of Raymond and Kelly Failla. Loving uncle of Kim Siery, Ava and Ashley Failla. Also survived by many cousins.
