Edward A. Kania, 85, of Clifton, on March 25, 2010. Born in Passaic, Edward lived most of his life in Clifton.

A Navy Veteran of WW II, Edward was a parishioner of St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton, a member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus, Council # 3969, and held a Black Belt in Koei Kan Karate.

Edward was a Lab Technician for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley for 38 years, retiring in 1986, and was a member of the Roche Retirees.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Kranik) who died in 1991. Devoted father of Edward C. and his wife Ruth, Richard and his wife Lucia, Kathleen Kania, all of Clifton, and the late Ronald who died in 1991. Loving grandfather of Christopher and Michael, and the late Edward C., Jr., who died in 2004.
