Edward Thomas Finnigan's Obituary
Edward Thomas Finnigan, 60, of Clifton, passed away on May 29, 2017. Born in Paterson, he lived most of his life in Clifton.
Edward was a Stage Builder for Teamsters Local # 807, New York City for 20 years. Ed also worked for GES in Clifton for about 10 years, prior to that he worked for Chair for Hire in Paterson, for many years.
Beloved brother of Sue Laratta of Brooktondale, NY, David of Greencove Spring, FL, and the late Thomas. Devoted son of the late Thomas and Arlene (Birchenough) Finnigan. Dear step-son of John Frey of Punta Gorda, FL. Step brother of John, Jr., Linda, Deb, Bobby, Jim and Vincent Frey. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to his closest friend James Vester for all his help in caring for Ed.
Visiting Friday 2-4 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Prayer Service at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Donation Processing, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014, www.michaeljfox.org, in memory of Ed would be greatly appreciated.
