Edward L Boggio., 71, of Clifton was called to heaven on Friday, April 17, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Edward, born in Passaic on December 13th, 1943, was a resident of Clifton his entire life. After graduating Paterson Tech and serving in the U.S. Army, Edward, a carpenter by trade, began his career in home construction, followed by working at Mobay Chemical Corp for 16 years. Edward fulfilled his lifelong dream of starting his own business, Boggio Construction. Afterwards, he graduated with top honors from Lincoln Tech Institute for HVAC before finally retiring from Con-Way Freight in 2008. A parishioner of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Clifton, Edward was predeceased by his parents, Ida & Ercole Boggio. Edward is survived by his devoted wife, his childhood sweetheart, Lucille (nee Chilinigirian), adoring daughter Lisa and her fiancé Leonard Arcieri of Sparta, caring son Edward Jr, of Clifton, and cherished granddaughter Gianna Arcieri, a loving brother George and his wife Mary of Colts Neck, a dear sister-in-law Rose Stolz of Asbury Park. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews cousins and friends, G. John Boggio and his wife Danielle, children Taylor and Nicole of Millersville, MD, Michael Boggio and his wife Lisa, children Will, Cole, Jack and Cate of Wilmington, NC, Richard Boggio and his wife Jennifer, children Amanda and Kyle of Middletown, James Boggio and his wife Suzanne, children Bryce and Paige of Wyckoff, Christopher Stolz and his wife Pam of Bradenton, FL, Daniel Stolz and his wife Laurie and son Noah of Manahawkin. Edward enjoyed many aspects of life, including fishing at his brother's pond, playing pinochle with family, vacationing in Vermont, hunting, playing slots in Atlantic City. The family will receive friends at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ on Tuesday, April 21st between 4-8pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 9:15am at the funeral home followed by 10:30am mass at St. Paul's RC Church in Clifton. Entombment is at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
