Edna DeCastro, 58, of Lincoln Park, passed away on October 7, 2012. Born in the Philippines, she came to the US in 1984 and lived in Clifton before moving to Lincoln Park in 1988. Edna was an Accounts Receivable Analyst for Tahari Co. in Millburn for the past 12 years, and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega. Beloved daughter of Catalina (Pasia) and the late Sebastian DeCastro. Devoted sister of Zenaida Velante of Clifton, Araceli DeCastro of Lincoln Park, Nillie Berczuk of Hamburg, Elsa Altarboush of Rockaway, Alan DeCastro of Jersey City, Helen Bello, Dante DeCastro, Emma Umusig, Minandro DeCastro, Glen DeCastro, and Sebastian DeCastro, all of the Philippines. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Cremation will be Private. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
