Edith "Sis" (Redy) Tanis, 88, of Woodland Park passed away on February 24, 2015. Born and raised in Paterson, Sis lived in Towaco and Totowa before moving back to Paterson, and later Woodland Park, many years ago. Edith was a Clerk for Felsway Corp. in Totowa for 11 years, retiring in 1991. Devoted mother of Barbara Monks and her husband Bob of Montague, Bobby Rohloff of Seaford, DE, and Bonnie Galasso and her companion Dave Lotz of Woodland Park. Beloved step-mother of Bill Tanis and his wife Chris of Virginia Beach, VA. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Lori, Ryan, Craig, Lindsay, Brittany, Kelsey and the late Eric. Adored great grandmother of Brianna, Dylan, Sierra, Berkeley, Brody, Bailey and Benjamin. Dear sister of the late Bob, Jack and Rich Redy. Loving aunt of Jane Richter. Edith will be dearly missed by many friends and family, especially her best friend, Clare Thompson. Funeral Service Friday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
