Dorothy C. (Promin) Woodruff, 90, passed away on May 10, 2023. Born in Clifton, Dorothy has been a resident of Clifton all her life. She worked as a secretary for Horowitz & Son, Fairfield, for many years before retiring in 1983. A proud member of the Women's Club of Clifton, Dorothy enjoyed gardening and creating custom painted bird houses. She also shared her love of hearts with her entire family; always decorating birthday cards and notes with her signature heart designs.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Woodruff, who passed away in 1989. Devoted mother of Mark Woodruff and his wife Dayle of Clifton and Glenn Woodruff and his wife Valerie of Randolph. Loving grandmother of Robyn Woodruff and her wife Kristi Preuss, Sara Moran and her husband Jason, Samantha Curcuruto and her husband Ryan, Erik Woodruff, and Kimberly Almonte and her husband Nick. Cherished great-grandmother of Connor, Colton, Charlotte, and Sloane. Dear sister of Virginia Ritzau and her late husband Buz, Raymond Promin, and the late Nancy Frazee and her husband Bill. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
