Dorothy "Dot" (Oettel) Szluka, 94, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019. Born in Garfield, Dot was a lifelong resident of Clifton. Dot was a strong woman who made it through a tough childhood. Throughout her life she had many friends and many good times. Above everything, Dot was devoted to her family. She loved having them around her. It gave her a great opportunity to show off her cooking skills, and that will be missed.

Beloved wife of the late Michael for 51 years. Devoted mother of the late Carolyn, Michael and his wife Mary of Chicago, IL, Raymond and his wife Eleanor of Clifton, the late Karen Hrina, and son-in-law Michael Hrina of Clifton. Cherished grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eight.

Funeral Wednesday 9AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, with a 10AM service. Interment, Lodi Cemetery, Lodi.
