Dorothy (Payne) Sachse, age 83, of Totowa, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Gallen Institute, Clifton. Born in Totowa, she was a life long resident before moving to Clifton in 2008.

Dorothy was a member of the Totowa Senior Citizens. During her winters in Florida she sang with the Bells of Harmony and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Hans, in 2002. Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Sharon Rickert of Totowa and Lorraine Stolarz and her husband Charles of Point Pleasant. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Joseph, Danielle and Janine; three great grandchildren, Chase, Victoria and Talon.

Memorial donations made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. www.shookfh.com
