Dorothy A. (Stolz) Fillian, 73, of Oakhurst passed away on July 1, 2014. Born on May 5, 1941 in Belmar, Dottie lived in Asbury Park before moving to Oakhurst many years ago. She worked for the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown for many years. Dottie always enjoyed spending time with her family. In her early years as a young mother they would enjoy the beaches and boardwalks of the Jersey Shore. Most recently she spent a lot of time caring for her many pets and feeding and watching the deer and other wildlife in her yard. Dottie was predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Dorothy Stolz, and her sister Jean Johnson. Devoted mother of Susan and her husband Tom of Oakhurst, Michelle of Oakhurst, Michael and his girlfriend Estela Muniz of Hoboken, and Clayton and his wife Casey of Oakhurst. Cherished grandmother of Jodi, Rebecca, Christina, Alyse, Krystal, Dennis, Scott, Marissa, Mia and Madden. Adored great-grandmother of Jayden.
