Doris B. (Kubovick) Sura, of Clifton, passed away on July 26, 2016. Born in Luzerne , PA, she lived in West Orange and Queens, NY, before moving to Clifton over 30 years ago.

A parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Doris was a secretary in the Political Science Department at Seton Hall University in South Orange for 25 years, retiring in 2001. A member of the Seton Hall Pirate Blue Club, Doris earned her degree in Religious Studies from Seton Hall University and was named Woman of the Year, as voted by faculty and staff.

Beloved mother of Gregory Sura and his wife Evelyn of Towaco, Carolyn Smith of Califon, and the late Cynthia Burkland. Loving and devoted grandmother of Erica, Lauren, Caelin, Emily and Cameron. Dear sister of Jack Kubovcik and his wife Ang ela of Rockaway. Dear aunt of Eric Kubovcik and Amy Ehrlich.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Monday 9 AM at the f uneral h ome, and 10 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
