Doris (Gavlak) Scott, 82, of Forest City, PA, formerly of Clifton passed away on April 24, 2011. Born in Wallington, she lived most of her life in Clifton before moving to Pennsylvania 12 years ago.

Doris was a Banquet Manager for the Gateway Hilton Hotel in Newark for many years before retiring.

Beloved wife of the late Paul Scott who passed away in October, 2010. Devoted mother of Douglas Van Hook and his wife Irene of Clifton, Glenn Van Hook and his wife Sharon of Wallington, Lauren Van Hook of Clifton, Craig Van Hook and his companion Clea of Wallington. Dear sister of Russell Gavlak of Milford, PA. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 2 predeceased grandsons and 5 great grandchildren.
