Doris O'Rourke, 86, of Toms River, passed away on June 2, 2019. Born in North Bergen, Doris lived in Union City and North Bergen before moving to Toms River 12 years ago. Doris worked as a bar attendant at Kelly's Pub, Hoboken, for 10 years before retiring in 1979.

Beloved wife of the late James J. O'Rourke who passed away in 2005. Devoted mother of Dora, John, and Brian Sharpe, Audrey Camise, and the late Guy Sharpe. Loving grandmother of Lauren, John, Jacklyn and Breanna Sharpe, Annabella, Angelina, and Anastasia Camise, Anthony and Giovanni Pitrelli, and Gabrielle Salamone. Cherished great-grandmother of Chloe, Jaxon, and Wyatt Snapp, Logan, and Avery Sharpe, Candice Marie Kelly, and Dezmin, and Arianna Stephenson. Dear sister of Helen Janssen, Robert Kappmeier, and the late Edna Bonelli, and Henry Kappmeier.

Funeral Saturday 9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visiting Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
