Doris Marie (Chiko) Hawthorne, 87 of Passaic, passed away on June 1, 2017. Born in Passaic she was a lifelong resident.
A former member of the Old First Reformed Church, Passaic, Doris was a Garment Worker for Gramercy Mills in Passaic for many years, retiring in 1991.
Beloved wife of the late Charles who passed away in 1987. Devoted mother of Charles V., Jr. of Manasquan and his former wife Carol, William G. and his wife Maureen of Brick, and James J. of Passaic. Loving grandmother of William, Kristen, Lisa and Charles, III. Cherished great grandmother of Jianna, Jenna, Justina, Cayden, Charles, IV, "Chase", Natalie, Owen and Madison. Dear sister of the late Charles Chiko.
Funeral Tuesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Cremation, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Monday 4-9 PM at the funeral home.
