Donald A. Lahotsky, Sr., 79, of Clifton, passed away on November 25, 2014. Born in Troop, PA, he lived in Clifton most of his life. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Donald was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and is a member of the Athenia Veterans Post, Clifton. Donald was a Security Guard for Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley for over 20 years and later worked for the Clifton Board of Education as a Custodial Engineer at the Clifton High School, Woodrow Wilson and Christopher Columbus Middle Schools for many years. Beloved husband for 50 years of Irene (Krenitsky). Devoted father of Veraanne Lahotsky and Marianne Adubato, both of Clifton, Ann Marie Beck and her husband John of Butler, and Donald, Jr. of Blairstown. Loving grandfather of Samantha, John and Ryan. Donald was predeceased by 4 brothers and a sister. Funeral Saturday 8 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 9 AM at St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
