Donald E. Jaeger, 87, of Clifton, passed away on September 3, 2014. Born in Queens, NY, he lived in Paterson and Passaic before moving to Clifton in 1956. An Army Veteran of WW II, Donald was a Conductor for NJ Transit in Hoboken for 35 years, retiring in 1989. A parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton, Donald was an Avid Golfer and was a member of the Passaic County Golf Course, Wayne. Beloved husband for 59 years of Claire (Scraver). Devoted father of Donald and his wife Fran of Clifton, Jack and his wife Carol of Clifton, Patricia Dunn of Clifton, and the late Timothy. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of the late John. Funeral Saturday 8:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
