Dominik Krzysik's Obituary
Dominik Krzysik, 82, of Clifton, passed away on December 10, 2016. Born in Lapsze Wyzne, Poland, Dominik was a member of the Polish Army and came to the US in 1967, settling in Clifton.
An active parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius RC Church, Clifton, for over 40 years, Dominik served as an Usher, helped with the weekly collection and was a member of both the Slovak Catholic Sokol and the Slovak Rosary Society. A Carpenter by trade, Dominik was a Machine Operator for Atlantic Can Co. in Passaic for 22 years, retiring in 1996.
Beloved husband for 59 years of Anna (Soltys). Devoted father of Frank and his wife Anna of Drums, PA, Anna Meyer and her husband Ron of Barryville, NY, Joseph of Clifton, Maria Sheehan and her husband Michael of Parsippany, and John and his wife Lucy of Clifton. Loving grandfather of Peter Meyer, Brittany and Ryan Sheehan, Nikki Phillips, Jennifer, Joseph, Jr., and Jonathan Krzysik. Cherished great grandfather of James Dominik and Logan Phillips. Brother of Paul of Flanders, and Mary Moskalow of Vineland. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews, especially Jan Soltys and his family.
Funeral Saturday 8:15 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, and 9:30 AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
