Diane V. (Holland) Galka, 39, of Wayne, passed away on October 16, 2014. Born in Jersey City, she lived in East Rutherford before moving to Wayne 6 years ago. Diane was a Special Education Teacher for the Clifton Board of Education in School # 2 for the past 15 years. As many know, working with Autistic children takes a special kind of person and for sure, Diane had that gift. Devoted wife of John. Beloved mother of John Michael and Allyson Aubrie Galka. Loving daughter of Michael and Diane (Tenebruso) Holland of East Rutherford. Dear sister of Michael Holland and his wife Kathleen of East Rutherford. Cherished daughter in law of John and Barbara Galka of Clifton. Funeral Monday 9:45 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Cremation will be private. Visiting Sunday 2-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations in memory of Diane to establish an Education Fund for John and Allyson.
