On January 9, 2024, our world changed forever. David passed away to be with his heavenly family. He was an extremely devoted husband to Nancy, father to Linda Tylicke, Brian Buginsky and Lisa Czerepak (the best dad ever). He was the most wonderful, hands-on grandfather a.k.a. Rara, to Paige Czerepak, Cole Czerepak and Matthew Buginsky.

Dave graduated Garfield high school and worked at Hartman Mills after he married his first wife, Doris Hartman. He then proceeded to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University while working full-time and he received his bachelors degree in business administration. If that weren't enough, Dave then attended William Paterson University and accomplished two masters degrees in teaching in special education. Dave worked at Passaic County Vo-Tech in Wayne as a special education supervisor, which he loved, and in 1984 he met Nancy and fell in love all over again. They married in 1985. David always wanted more children and now he had them. A blended family, they adored him and he felt the same. Dave retired in 1994 and then continued to work, teaching at William Paterson University and Seton Hall University.

He will be missed more than words can express. His humor was amazing, his patience impressive, his devotion a blessing, his love intense. Dave, we will miss you forever and always, your family and loving wife, Nancy.
