David M. Slater, 72, of Butler, passed away on August 11, 2016. Born in Warren, PA, he lived in Elmwood Park for many years before moving to Butler.
An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, David was a Survey Engineer for Canger Engineering Co., Fair Lawn.
Beloved brother of Patricia Jennings of Florida, Thomas of Pompton Plains, William of Virginia Beach, VA, Sandra Jacobsen of Richmond, VA, and the late Rita Priff and Paul Slater. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Monday 9:30-10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, Funeral Service Monday 10 AM. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
